In the past couple months - especially in light of these unpredictable times we’re living in - we’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on our purpose. Why do we exist as a business? What are the core values that we want to live out in everything we do?
One guiding force that we’ve always gravitated towards, as you may know by now, is the notion of connection - connection to the land, to our food, to the people around us. I know we’ve all lamented the many ways that the current circumstances have made connection harder, but in stripping away the things we often took for granted, we’re presented with the opportunity to reflect on them in a more personal way. As such, we’ve seen a richness of insight and creativity emerge in the wake of an otherwise difficult chapter.
As such, we want to start a conversation that focused on our larger community. We’d love to hear how these ideas have sat with you the past couple months, or beyond. Where have you felt a strong sense of connection, potentially in a profound or unexpected way? Is this part of a larger story? We invite you to join this conversation, by sharing, by listening, or perhaps a little bit of both.
