More than just a Gift Package

One thing about us is that we don't act hastily. Not sure whether that's good or bad, but it's true. It was about two years ago now that we started packaging Forest Garden in cans instead of bottles. Cans make for a preferable serving size for most people, they're lighter and more recyclable.
Since then, we've gradually migrated other favourites from glass to cans, and including Wassail, we now have four canned ciders, which, lo and behold, is just the right number to make the lovely little gift pack pictured above!
When I see how this gift package has come together in the past few days, I'm delighted that we have something fun like this to offer you, our customers. But also, it represents something about the evolution of our little business. Behind the cardboard and the four cans of cider, this little package embodies so many decisions made, risks taken, and experiments tried over the past couple of years. Failed attempts, small successes, course corrections. It's a testament to many things, but maybe most of all, to the perseverance of Matt Steinman, our production guru. He's the one that makes the things that you enjoy drinking. He relishes the thrill of innovating, and carries the serious weight of quality and safety. And he does it all with grace and a chill vibe. It's good to have Matt on our team!
Back to the upcoming holidays, though - if anyone on your holiday gift list is a cider lover, we've got you covered.

In a healthy ecosystem, nothing is ever wasted - the output of one system or process is input to another. In the microcosm, things are constantly being born and dying.
