Heartwood is a regenerative farm with fresh air, good soil, healthy plants and animals, and a lively kitchen table. You're invited to the conversation.
We are the humble and careful stewards of a 42-acre farm, where we raise cows, pigs, chickens and bees, and grow apples, maple trees, and other fruit and nut trees. We have chosen the practice of Regenerative Farming for our land in an effort to maintain the healthiest soil, water systems, agriculture and livestock possible.
We make delicious small-batch craft ciders, using ingredients from our farm and local community — apples from our forest garden, maple syrup tapped from our own trees, and other ingredients like currants and peaches (even hot peppers!) for our signature flavours or seasonal offerings. Our ciders are sophisticated and a bit adventurous, but still accessible, like a craft cider should be.
The last few months have posed various challenges for each of us, as we try to navigate this unfamiliar landscape. Nevertheless, while the world as we know it is changing, the natural ecosystems around us are as vibrant and dynamic as ever. If you'd like to visit us and experience the farm for yourself, you can find more information and sign up for our farm retreat offering below:
One of the things we relish most at Heartwood is the opportunity to make connections and build strong relationships with our clients. Whatever your business is working towards, we'd love to be a part of your journey. From office cider deliveries, to hosting a company offsite, to offering consulting services, our goal is to add value wherever we can.
