Heartwood is a regenerative farm with fresh air, good soil, healthy plants and animals, and a lively kitchen table. You’re invited to the conversation!
We are the humble and careful stewards of a 42-acre farm, where we raise cows, pigs, chickens and bees, and grow apples, maple trees, and other fruit and nut trees. We have chosen the practice of Regenerative Farming for our land in an effort to maintain the healthiest soil, water systems, agriculture and livestock possible.
We make delicious small-batch craft ciders, using ingredients from our farm and local community — apples from our forest garden, maple syrup tapped from our own trees, and other ingredients like currants and peaches (even hot peppers!) for our signature flavours or seasonal offerings.
Our ciders are dry and off-dry, sweetened just the right amount with maple syrup — sophisticated and a bit adventurous, but still accessible, like a craft cider should be. We make 4 signature ciders, as well as a rotating list of seasonal or experimental ciders to keep things interesting. All of our ciders are gluten free.
