Our extra-lean ground beef comes in 1 lb packages. One of the most familiar, versatile and easy-to-use cuts to have in the freezer, our extra-lean, grass fed ground beef does not get greasy and loses almost no volume when cooked. Excellent value and a pleasure to work with!
Our meat is frozen and wrapped in traditional butcher paper. It is only available for pickup on the farm. You'll receive an email to let you know when your order is ready for pick up.

It is unbelievable the taste difference when using grass fed beef vs whatever the store cows are eating!! Heartwood grass fed beef does not disappoint. I recently made a "pure" Italian lasagna using fresh Italian ingredients and used Heartwood's grass fed beef for the meat. I served it up to my Italian brother-in-law and the rest of my family to rave reviews!
