Our artisanal chickens enjoy free choice, certified organic feed and spend their days foraging in our green pastures. Raised outdoors in our Cackellac “chicken tractor”, our little chicken flock plays an important in regenerating the health of our land. Exercise, fresh air, and a diverse diet makes for an old-fashioned, flavourful roast chicken — remarkably tasty, and good for the earth!
The cost of the chicken is $6.75/lb. You can reserve one with a $15 deposit, and the balance will be due once your chicken is weighed. The chickens weigh 4 - 6 lbs.
The chickens are individually frozen, and so must be picked up at the farm.
